Soul Peaceful: A Meditation Podcast

Thursday, March 19, 2020

Y'all, I'm on the struggle bus with this #socialdistancing! I'm on telework status like the rest of the world and I have basically eaten up most, if not all, of my quarantine snacks! What Am I Gone Do!?

I'm distracted and all over the place, yet by day I have to engage external customers and get on calls and do the mundane, and by night I get to provide a listening ear and be present for my clients.

Nothing has changed but my location, but what I'm most grateful for, is a new routine I've cultivated, that one of my sisters told me about. It's creating a Miracle Morning. The first 15 minutes are critical to completing the entire hour and a half before my workday begins. I don't know if you can relate, but if I don't start well, I might not finish well, so my morning intention is critical.

For those of you who are new here, at Survival Sisters Peaceful Oasis (and soon to be Peaceful Oasis Counseling) my mission is simple: to help you permanently heal from emotional wounding and trauma; while empowering women, educating churches, and exposing domestic violence in Christian homes and relationships.

Since 2017, I've always believed that within every person lies an inner hunger for peace. That's why during this time, I'm committed more than ever to ensuring that the Survival Sisters Peaceful Oasis you know and trust, remains a brand that you can count on for transparency, warmth, and empowerment, especially now.

Unlike my day job, Survival Sisters is currently not affected by being displaced from a brick and mortar building which would need adequate sanitizing; but every morning I've committed myself to sanitize my mind from any anxiety-causing debris from yesterday and taking the necessary precautions to stay prayed up, studied up, and SOul peaceful so that the content you receive is relevant, pure, and emotionally safe.

Things are a bit off. I hadn't written a blog post in a few weeks, nor posted to my Instagram like I'd want in a couple of months. I've let life get the best of me and I've lost sight of a passion God placed on my heart: to help every soul that comes within my sphere of influence to be at peace.

I'm here now....with a new podcast that I hope to post Every Monday (sorry, Corona wouldn't let me wait)! This meditation program is geared toward bringing peace to your soul during periods of anxiety.

Check it out and let me know what you think! Connect with me here, follow me on Instagram and like me on Facebook!

Until next time my dears...
